He was probably just trying to be extra gentle with it. He was only reviewing it. He wasn't going to slam it lol. The body panels are carbon fiber. Carbon fiber is made up of thin strands of pure carbon, that are woven into a tight cloth. To form a composite material, the cloth is then combined with (and enclosed in) a plastic or resin. Thus it may look as if it acts like plastic, but it's much better/stronger/lighter.

I like the idea but i also saw the topgear vesion and that has me suspistuoius but if they make a car like this for the cost it needs to charge fast and have better quilty and be durable or it going to be beat out by gas cars al the time

I like it. Not tryihg to sell anything, just saying how it is. Only real problem with having a Tesla is that the world is not really ready for them. Still waiting for those recharge stations.

I LOVE THIS CAR! Too bad I will have to settle with the Leaf, which is a pretty cool car. Electric is the way to go, and all you skeptics will get you words stuffed back in your mouth when you see one in person and take a ride. The Tesla proved that electric cars can be fast and cool or hot, whichever way you look at it.
