That is sad,I can remember when that place was booming. Around the malls it looks like a ghost town because all the stores have gone out of business(at least at Westland Mall)downtown Dearborn has had a lot of businesses go out also.

The outlet mall of monroe is older than it appears ... It has been around since the early 80's it used to be a major shopping center when i was younger.. Yeah dont forget about how monroe dumps money into unessary thing's like our pointless 2 million dollar river walk that is flooded 90% of the time. ohh you cannot forget we need our super walmart when the one across the street was perfectly fine.. Now tose stores that took its place in the old building are failing ...

Green shoots at Burger King. Is that with the secret sauce? Pain Centers. Maybe I should check out something like that. I am a disabled Veteran, in pain 24x7. The VA is overwhelmed with returning vets from the war. BTW, bases overseas have little to do with our financial problems. IMHO. I did some computer consulting work in the Detroit area many years ago. It might be interesting to go back and see how things area.
