Despite the miserable weather on the first day of Spring, approximately 20 revellers turned out for South Australian restaurant and catering group, the food business' Flash Mob activity in Adelaide's busy Rundle Mall to celebrate the new season and its Adelaide Festival Centre venue, Bistro by the food business opening more regularly.
Participants posed as shoppers, then as soon as they saw the lively procession pass, lead by a cheeky chef, they joined the queue.
The troupe weaved its way through the shopping precinct in follow-the-leader style grooving to the music and finishing at the riverside venue.
Some of Adelaide's drivers joined in with the festivities, tooting their horns at traffic lights as the group in true Motown-style danced in the street.
While the chef let rip some freestyle moves to keep the crowd entertained, look out for a little monkey business later on. Even 'Frank' the infamous Rundle Mall spruiker makes a cameo, relaying some of the words to 'Dancing in the Street' over the microphone. Less
