@IEvoIL Technically, Sony vouches for 10 years per hardware unit, so I'm thinking in Octoboer of this year, Sony might just pull the plug. However, developers may keep releasing titles until about two more years from now (2007 was the last year of PS1-releases, the console came out in 95). Thanks. =)

Very good unboxing. Even though I already own a silver PlayStation 2 Slim, I feel like going all black again, haha. I'm glad Sony changed the font at the release of the PlayStation 3 Slim. It now matches the PS2. Sony also changed the recent PS2 Slim boxes. They match the PS3 boxes. I'm so nerdy :D

Really? On mine it's because the left side is glossy (vs a grainy/porous right side). To add to it, the left side has a glossy plastic cover for protection (which you can remove).

Thank you. Now, THAT is an interesting comment. I never knew they didn't get the PS2 over there. WOW. The price is outrageous. On the other hand, they do still make a ton of Genesis clones (which do get a better rep than the Chinese ones, that is).

Great unboxing video. I love the ps2. I still have the original I bought new in jan 2002 and have put more hours on that system than any since my 1st nes. This 90000 series seems to be very well made and is such a steal at $99. I like it better than the previous slim which had that stupid external power brick. I read online a few mins ago that brazil is finally getting the PS2 down there after 9 years and it will cost $450 US dollars and games will be $66 US dollars and up.

I dont want them to fade away either . they are now know as SNK Playmore (hints the P) they thing is, I love the metal slug series. but they are working on a new Metal Sug game..but the problem is.. they are using the outdated graphics. they really need to update it.

I HAVE been noticing the 360 moving up in the "home arcade" field. It seems they have a great deal of awesome 2D arcade ports. On the part of SNK(P?), they should definitely step it up a few notches. I, for one, wouldn't want them to just fade away.
