Cool double rainbow. Must have looked way cool to the naked eye. If you took some RAW photos of it you could probably get a picture that closer resembles what you actually saw. A lot of modern cameras can take a double shot which the camera blends to get a more realistic pic. The iphone 4 is a good example of this type of auto photo blending.

Two years ago I had a similar experience as I sat under a tree in my backyard. It's an awesome experience where it seems the double rainbow is a few meters from you. The colors are several times more intense than the usual rain bows we see. Appararently it's a very rare experience. Almost made me cry.
