Learn to respect and play well with others. Surely, it can't be that difficult.

Correction: You realize Stern was only going to mock your insanity, so you decided against looking like a fool.

Oh, big surprise. Another christian who censors his comments because he only wants his ridiculous ideas posted. That's the problem, when you put logic and facts alongside your brainwashing, you end up looking stupid. Enjoy your brainwashing!

carbonatedturd Says:
Wow, aren't facts fun when you fabricate them on the spot? It's not quite simple, and you've obviously never spent any time studying physics. This "statistical impossibility of life existing without a creator" idea is laughable, and no respected physicist, or scientist, would ever claim that's true. Stop spreading this bullshit, because there are naive people out there who are going to believe it, and pass it on to others as the truth.

TheRausing1 Says:
what you're really saying is the more you study physics, the less you understand, therefore you should naturally give up on the search for the truth and confide in god. i will not settle for that kind of laziness... it doesn't make sense- think about it, what we know now, like evolution, people like you said were god and we should searching. but men like steven hawking kept looking, and they found the truth. this will keep happening as long as men like him live. SAPERE AUDE- dare to think

bizzarefrog Says:
I can see where you coming from, and I'm unsure about the existence of a god as I believe we'll never find any evidence for or against it. But surely if life is a statistical impossibility, then surely a creator said life is also a statistical impossibility? or was it simply begotten as many people tell me- in which case, why couldn't life be simply begotten?

dinonation Says:
How could a god that loves the entirety of creation unconditionally send anyone or anything to suffer an eternity of hell? Or are sinners just the steam boiling out with the impurities in the fire cauldron of creation? No need to answer, I know what you'll say. Just know this: you judged me.

Assassin's Creed? Still a great quote.

dinonation Says:
Or maybe people thousands of years ago just made things up so that others would stop asking questions with answers they couldn't give. You should read the bible to find it's sentiment, not evidence. You'll find a bigger, more beautiful world that way.
May 23, 2012
dinonation Says:
Oh, and: people can 'believe they know,' but the lack of true empirical evidence for a creator makes it impossible for anyone to 'actually' know god exists. And, maybe it's possible that many of the 'classic masters,' of which you refer to, believed in a god because they didn't know any better. Wouldn't you say? Hey, I'm borderline buddhist, not atheist (I don't need god to find divinity in the world), I just enjoy civil discourse. :)

dinonation Says:
I can certainly appreciate your mention of physics and statistical impossibility, however you should reword it to say "statistical improbability" for accuracy's sake. Also, Einstein was on the fence about god, from what I understand. I too have looked to physics for evidence of divine action, however I've come to a different conclusion than you. In my humble opinion, it's more likely that the universe organizes itself, with no outside creator. The christian concept of god seems too simplistic.

U guys realize that when scientist say that Earth was created in like 4,000,000,000 yrs? And bible says 6 days... I am a Christian and all I have to say isthat we might be talking about the same thing. Maybe God made a different time. Earth just has so much pride ppl I mean THINK about it ppl can't just pop out of NOWHERE!!!! Geez it's common sense! Scientist just think they know everything about the universe and above... I rest my case.

@liloly17 Evolution by natural selection is a fact which does not necessitate belief. It is supported by mounds of tangible evidence across several domains of science. Faith in christ is supported by as much evidence as faith in UFO's or zombies. The likelihood of the existence of anything sacred is just laughable today. One shouldn't believe in a proposition because it might seem nice if it were true. And what exactly about ritual human sacrifice is nice?

I'm a Christian and one of my good friends is an atheist. To tell the truth like four of my friends are atheists. He respects my thought and I respect his. Why can't people just stop insulting what other people believe? It's ridiculous. It's more ridiculous than the woman saying Harry potter would be put to death because he studied witchcraft. Hell, my atheist friend and I plan on going to college together and study in video game animation. If he and I can be friends why can't other atheists an
