Ron Paul doesn't want the goverment regulating any of your free choice. He always says that he beleives you should have the right to live your life however you want, as long as you don't harm anyone else. What about that is against civil rights? He doesn't try to force anyone to do something, doesn't even tell you to vote for him cause that your choice.

palerider1775 Says:
Well, I guess you must think Ron Paul is just lying to everyone else and only telling you the "truth" then, huh? Because he has stated these things pretty plainly. If you haven't seen his "honest rape" response, by the way, the look no further; /watch?v=TVRbvIYAP54
dragsterf Says:
wrong, wrong, wrong, and wrong....
palerider1775 Says:
Wow. I am surprised that it took someone this long to bring up the weed thing. Personally, I don't think weed should be illegal either, but unlike most of the airheads that blindly revere Ron Paul because he merely implied that he would try to legalize it, I've actual looked at the rest of what he has said, and it's pretty ugly. - (Have you seen his "honest rape" response?...) - Against gay marriage. - Against separation of church and state. - Against equal rights nationwide.
abusivemomba Says:
Ron Paul believes the Federal government is only responsible for the duties listed in the Constitution, so no - you're incorrect again. Go read a book or something, it could do you some good.
abusivemomba Says:
The video you linked is incredibly misleading, and is only about his belief of right to life - but I'm not interested in abortion right now. Your speculation about his views regarding minorities is hardly concrete evidence, and to suggest you respect Santorum, an open bigot, is absurd. Judging from your other comments, you are no different from the rest of the armchair debaters: your views are too engrained in your own head for you to learn from anyone anyway.
palerider1775 Says:
Who the Hell is talking about immigration? How about "No person is allowed to be deprived of life, liberty,or property without due process of law." or "No person can be denied equal protection of the laws."? Ron Paul believes that those pesky federal laws that protect everyone equally should be up for negotiation by states. And he has also plainly stated that he is against the separation of church and state. You don't even need to be a Ron Paulite to have heard that one before!
palerider1775 Says:
It's dishonest because he won't just come out and strongly state what he believes and what he'd push for if he was voted into office. (Like that idiot Rick Santorum. But I'll give it to Santorum for at least stating the bullshit he believes plainly and openly. Ron Paul is a coward when it comes to what he actually believes.) We all know he's against equality for gays, and minorities give him the hibbie jibbies. And women? Come on. You didn't see this coming?: /watch?v=TVRbvIYAP54
palerider1775 Says:
If that helps you sleep better at night, then keep believing it. But, I've done the research. I've actually gone and looked at what Ron Paul really believes, like the fact that he doesn't believe in the separation of church and state, or that everyone in every state should have the same rights across the board. So don't be a stupid sheep and then accuse me of the same because of your ignorance. So no, best of luck to *you* and your sillies.
lioness54703 Says:
@palerider1775 You clearly look at people in groups and not individuals. You clearly get your information from biased MSM and do not do your own research and actually listened to what comes out of the man's mouth. You will probably take it the wrong way even if it is obvious to your own self you are wrong so best of luck!
lioness54703 Says:
Wow! you really are clueless about Ron Paul..LOL The 14th Amendment was created to give slaves rightful citizenship. It was not meant for someone to slip into this country illegally to create a child to use as a pawn to bypass immigration. The federal government DOES have an enumerated duty to protect this country from invasion and that is clearly invasion. You totally lost me with the 1st Amendment. He is not against gays or minorities but he doesn't see them as groups like you do
lioness54703 Says:
As far as women's rights to abortion and contraception. He is NOT against birth control or even the morning after pill and would not make it illegal throughout the whole country to have an abortion. Most states will keep the option open this day and age. He is however opposed to taxing people who are opposed to it and making them pay for them through federal funds. It is just another thing that is not in the enumerated powers of the federal government.
lioness54703 Says:
Maybe you should read the Constitution and what the federal government enumerated powers are and then read the 10th amendment. Look at Medical Marijuana for instance. The constituents voted in favor but the federal government who really shouldn't have any juristiction in this comes in and arrests people who legally according to their state possess it. People actually have MORE rights through their states than the feds making one size fits all legislation for all.
abusivemomba Says:
How is letting the states decide dishonest? Don't you think the fact that he wants to at least push the responsibility away from the federal governments is a respectable enough stance? If you don't support Ron Paul, that's fine - but don't hate him for false reasons like thinking he hates women, gays, and minorities.
luminousnerd Says:
Ron Paul DOES NOT support gay marriage. He is firmly against it. You are clueless and not thinking clearly.
red88ization Says:

jcaled24 Says:
hahahahahahahahaahahaha good one fool! hahahahahahahaha
palerider1775 Says:
Ron Paul is as vile on the inside as the rest of the nutbag theocratic Republicans running for office. His whole "I'll let the states decide" bull is just dishonest. The more he opens his mouth the more apparent the makes it that he is against the 1st and 14th (at the LEAST) Amendments, and hates women/gays/brown people, and anyone that doesn't agree with his own religion. But yeah...keep telling yourself that I'm just some clueless hater. Whatever helps you sleep at night...

Tell Maine GOP Chairman Charlie Webster that it's unacceptable that 17% of Maine votes will not be counted. Contact him right now and demand he count all the votes! mainegop.com/contact-us/ "Washington County GOP Chairman Chris Gardner objected, saying he had known his county's tally wouldn't be included in Saturday's announcement but didn't realize it wouldn't be counted at all. Gardner, a Romney supporter, said the snowstorm had left him no choice but to postpone the caucuses."

palerider1775 Says:
They're not lies. Do a google search and read about it yourself! As far as the Constitution goes, Ron Paul wants to get rid of the goddamn 14th Amendment. I guess he's Ok with every state having their own laws, and with each turning into "tyrannies of the majority". It's a cop out as well, because instead of plainly stating that he's against women's right to choose, and also a homophobe, he just goes "I'll let the states decide!" Bullshit. All of it. Educate yourself.
