Some students from the ECE department at my university are attempting to create an application-specific version of the "UFO" you saw... it requires a lot of sensors, control systems, and microcontroller code to make it work correctly, so unfortunately the high price tag does not surprise me.

haha, thats a Hexacopter Its the most stable radiocontroled flying ...thing.. .:D and its used to carry a camcorder to it... I wish i could have one.. but its somewhere between 1000 and 5000 us dollars... You can also fiind quadcopters for just 300-600 $ but they cant carry alot of load and they aint that stable too
